1 Supervises manual labor around the rig. 2 Most duties involving general maintenance of the rig that would include scraping, painting, and cleaning of equipment, etc. 3 Assist in loading/back loading of materials to/from trucks. 4 Assist crane operator in the handling of materials, tubular and/or equipment as well as in care and maintenance of Cranes & Forklifts. 5 Assist mechanics, electricians in special projects. 6 Relieve roughnecks on the drill floor. 7 Assist in the mixing of mud and chemicals when needed. 8 Assist in the care and maintenance of tubular goods using brushes, rabbits and thread protectors. 9 Assist in assembly, dismantling and lubrication of pumps, drilling tools, deck machinery and other equipment as directed using hand tools. 10Makes up part of emergency crews performing duties as required by station bill or as otherwise directed.
