DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: • Perform general maintenance of equipment as needed for repair or in accordance with the PM System. • To maintain and supervise the mechanical PM System. • Train junior members of staff to service and repair mechanical equipment to assist with their development. • Develop and maintain good working relationships with operator's representatives, subcontractors and other personnel on the rig. • Assist the Rig Managers to prepare purchase orders for the purchase of equipment and supplies • Be knowledgeable of all Company safety policies and procedures that pertain to working area of responsibility including firefighting, emergency equipment, lifesaving equipment and emergency response plan. • Ensure that the permit to work system is used • Conduct testing of critical equipment/systems as required
