I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and a Master’s degree in Reliability Engineering, which together provide me with a strong technical foundation in upstream and downstream petroleum systems, asset integrity, risk management, and reliability-centered maintenance. My academic background has equipped me with a structured understanding of process safety, failure analysis, hazard identification, and lifecycle reliability of complex engineering systems. I began my professional career working with DRDO, Electronics and Radar Division, Bangalore, as a third-party contractual employee. This role exposed me to high-reliability defense systems where precision, safety compliance, and system robustness were critical. I gained hands-on experience in working within stringent quality and safety standards, understanding failure modes, and contributing to system performance and reliability improvements in mission-critical environments. Currently, I am employed with a multinational organization in the railway industry, where safety and reliability are paramount. In this role, I have developed strong practical experience in safety analysis, reliability assessments, risk mitigation, and compliance with international standards. Working in a regulated, safety-critical industry has strengthened my ability to apply reliability engineering principles, perform root cause analysis, and support safe and dependable operations. With combined experience across defense, railways, and strong academic roots in petroleum engineering, I am highly motivated to transition into the oil and gas industry in roles that integrate safety and reliability. I am confident that my multidisciplinary exposure, analytical skills, and hands-on experience will allow me to contribute effectively to asset safety, operational reliability, and risk reduction, thereby supporting organizational excellence and long-term sustainability.
