Below is a list of my roles and responsibilities that I have handled throughout my career; Health, Safety & Environment Management Implement and monitor the HSE Management System in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, client, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with local laws, ADNOC / client standards, and international best practices. Promote a strong safety culture across site operations. Risk Assessment & Control Conduct HIRA, JSA, TRA, and risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities. Identify hazards and ensure effective control measures are implemented. Review method statements and safe work procedures prior to execution. Site Monitoring & Inspections Carry out daily site inspections, audits, and safety walkthroughs. Monitor high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, lifting operations, work at height, and SIMOPS. Issue safety observations and follow up on corrective actions. Incident Management Lead and participate in incident, accident, and near-miss investigations using recognized methodologies (ICAM / Root Cause Analysis). Prepare investigation reports and ensure lessons learned are communicated and implemented. Maintain incident statistics and trend analysis (leading & lagging indicators). Training & Competency Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training for employees and contractors. Support competency development through Train-the-Trainer and peer learning initiatives. Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements. Emergency Preparedness Develop and implement Emergency Response Plans (ERP). Actively participate as TRT Leader / Member during drills and real incidents. Conduct emergency drills and evaluate response effectiveness. Permit to Work (PTW) System Administer and monitor the PTW system, ensuring proper authorization and controls. Verify isolation, gas testing, and permit compliance at work sites. Contractor & Workforce Safety Monitor contractor HSE performance and compliance. Ensure subcontractors follow approved HSE plans and procedures. Promote worker participation and behavior-based safety initiatives. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate HSE records, registers, and reports. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports for management and clients. Support internal and external HSE audits and inspections. Continuous Improvement Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support HSE campaigns, safety initiatives, and incentive programs. Contribute to continuous improvement of HSE systems and performance.
