Responsible for Preventive, Corrective and Breakdown maintenance of the equipment. Trouble shooting of rotating equipment. Planning and scheduling day to day work. Condition monitoring of rotating equipment’s. Contract job follow up. Modification / retrofit of the equipment. Cost control activities and reducing the Maintenance Cost. Conducting safety meeting to subordinates. Conducting tool box meeting and risk assignment for all jobs. Improving the reliability of the equipment by doing small modification. Improving the Technician / Fitter Skill. Contacting frequent Technical Sessions for co-workers. Assigning work to group of workers. Planning tools and tackles. Giving technical guidance to Technicians and fitters. Preparing daily reports and complete job reports for overhauled equipment’s shutdown reports etc. Spares Inspection at stores and other important activates for trouble free operation of the plant.
