• Extensive proven experience in Materials & Logistics. • Liaise with Offshore Drilling Supervisor regarding current & forthcoming operations. Discuss and formulate a logistics plan with ROS of forthcoming materials/personnel requirements, incl preparedness to meet contingencies. • Effective co-ordination between Drilling Rig, Drilling Engineering Dept, service personnel Store, Procurement Dept, Port Authorities & Customs and other agencies. • SAP proficiency in materials transaction, warehouse software, and monthly inventory reconciliation. • Manage supply vessels and choppers and ensure optimum utilization of OSV’s and Deck space whilst always meeting rig requirements. • Responsible to coordinate Rig, OSVs, and bulk plant supervisors (both liquid bulk & dry bulk) for supply of mud • Provided round the clock effective logistics support previously in HOEC (E & P) to drill ship – D534, Rig Deepwater Frontier, Actinia, DD8, Blackford Dolphin, and to rig Discoverer India. • Responsible to prepare department budget, implement measures for cost optimization and budget control. • Maintain materials transactions in Maximo like Materials Requests, Goods Receipt Notes, Cargo Manifest, Material Issue Notes, Material Return Notes, Material Transfer Notes, Shore Base Inventory, Well Consumption data, etc. • Oversee proper stacking/packing of receipt/dispatch materials and ensure zero damages and zero deterioration of spares. Setup of new warehouses as per the project requirements. Space optimization by proper planning of warehouse infrastructure. • Proper tagging and allocation of materials in Racks/Bins and updating inventory & bin cards. • Storage of hazardous materials/chemicals in the designated locations and maintaining the MSDS • Responsible for effectively implementing FIFO analysis in the warehouse for chemicals with shelf-life. • Coordinating with the Clearing and forwarding agents and transporters for the importation and transportation of materials to the specified destinations within the stipulated time. • Maintaining a safe environment by keeping high standards of HSE. • Preparing Technical Evaluations and Commercial Evaluations for Clearing and forwarding, logistics, supply vessels, Choppers, and other related services and materials. • Supervising the field-based logistics supervisors on the rig site(s). Ensure fully accurate records are kept of all items located at the rig site, including rental equipment, HOEC, and third party- owned equipment. • Demobilization and re-export of the materials after the end of campaigns.
