I worked as a Petroleum Engineer on a White Oil Pipeline Project, where I was actively involved in feed review, engineering coordination, and site execution activities related to the safe transportation of refined petroleum products such as diesel and petrol. My responsibilities began with reviewing technical feeds, including basic engineering documents, alignment sheets, drawings, and specifications, to ensure constructability, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements. I supported the engineering team by identifying discrepancies in feeds and coordinating with relevant disciplines for clarification and resolution. During the construction phase, I coordinated closely with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams for pipeline laying, welding, coating, lowering, and backfilling activities. I assisted in supervising hydrostatic testing, pigging, drying, and commissioning operations to verify pipeline integrity before product introduction. I also supported pump station and metering station activities by monitoring operational parameters such as pressure, flow rate, and temperature to ensure smooth and contamination-free product transfer. In addition, I actively contributed to the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices on site by ensuring adherence to safety procedures and participating in risk assessments and toolbox talks. My role included maintaining technical documentation, daily progress reports, and coordination records for regulatory and project requirements. Through continuous coordination with contractors, consultants, and project management teams, I supported timely project execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational safety throughout the project lifecycle.
