• Perform routine safety walks, inspections, and audits of rig operations, equipment (cranes, forklifts), and work areas to identify hazards. • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, JSA/JHA sessions, and specialized training (PPE, fall protection, fire safety) for new hires, visitors, and crew. • Ensure adherence to company HSE policies, international standards, and government regulations, maintaining all relevant HSE documents and registers. • Lead emergency drills (muster, evacuation) and ensure readiness for incidents like blowouts, fires, or medical emergencies. • Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions, implementing corrective actions and reporting findings. • Develop and review risk assessments (JSAs, JHAs, and PTWs) and implement controls for high-risk activities like lifting, working at height, or well testing. • Mentor crew, promote safe work practices, and drive initiatives to build a positive HSE culture, using tools like STOP cards. • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports to management.
