○ Worked on a 10-year-old Aramco-KOC plant’s (Khafji Joint Operation) 1 year commissioning and upgradation project. ○ Executed pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities of Crude and Gas treatment Plants at onshore and offshore sites. ○ Monitored, controlled and logged all operating parameters through the Distribution Control System (DCS) for allocated plant area to ensure safety, product quality and plant efficiency. ○ Correlated start-up sequences and conducted thorough site assessments to verify the availability of essential provisions for optimal project execution. ○ Executed precise line tracing and punch list preparation in compliance with P&ID specifications, ensuring meticulous documentation and operational clarity. ○ Created loop folders for the loop test and maintained the Loop folder tracker sheet. ○ Segregate loop and tag numbers based on master data. ○ Searched for appropriate P&ID, ILD, data sheet, I/O list, calibration certificate, cold loop certificate, hook-up diagram, layout diagram, and other required documents in the database and attach them with the loop folders to perform the loop test. ○ Raised tickets with the client if any misinformation is found in the as-built documents. ○ Used the instrument schedule or loop checklist to document each loop as it is verified. ○ Planned the daily activities of the loop test and operate DCS to perform the loop tests. ○ Operated Honeywell Experion DCS and executed the loop tests as per the as-built documents and assist the field technicians to simulate transmitters, valves, pumps, and other instruments in the field and verified the simulation values in the DCS. ○ Verified the tag number, instrument range, unit’s conversion, valve fail actions, alarm set points, and other technical details mentioned in the I/O list, calibration certificate, and P&ID, ILD, Cause and Effect and data sheet. ○ Coordinated with the operation team to modify configured data in the DCS as per the process requirement. ○ Ensured whether MOS is activated to prevent the shutdown of the running plant during the testing of instruments associated with ESD signals. ○ Verified data configured on the DCS graphics display with the documents and field. ○ Coordinated with field technicians to perform troubleshooting and installation of instruments. ○ Documented loop test reading values of faceplate, daily activities, generate a punch list of instruments requiring work, and distribute to the appropriate functions.
