Responsible for providing comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) support across complex construction, renewable energy and offshore environments. Duties include ensuring full compliance with company, client and statutory HSE requirements through continuous monitoring, auditing and engagement with site teams. Carrying out detailed risk assessments, RAMS reviews, task briefings and permit-to-work checks to ensure all activities are planned and executed safely. Actively involved in daily site operations, conducting regular site inspections, safety walkdowns and behavioural safety interventions to identify hazards, prevent incidents and promote a strong safety culture. Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings to operatives, contractors and subcontractors, ensuring clear understanding of safe systems of work and site-specific risks. Providing direct support to high-risk activities including lifting operations, electrical works, commissioning, confined space entry, working at height and marine or offshore operations. Monitoring contractor performance, verifying competency, and ensuring compliance with project procedures, RAMS and method statements. Leading incident, near-miss and unsafe act investigations, producing detailed reports, root cause analysis and corrective action plans. Supporting management in the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures and improvement initiatives. Acting as a key point of contact between workforce, contractors and clients to maintain high safety standards, promote positive safety culture and ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in full regulatory compliance.
