As a Drilling Supervisor, I am responsible for supervising and coordinating all drilling operations at the wellsite to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of the approved drilling program. I lead daily drilling activities, ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and local regulations. A key part of my role is enforcing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements. I ensure that all personnel comply with safety procedures, participate in toolbox talks, and understand potential operational risks. I actively promote a strong safety culture, conduct drills, and ensure readiness for emergency situations. I coordinate closely with drilling contractors, service companies, and third-party providers to ensure proper execution of operations such as drilling, casing, cementing, logging, and completion activities. I monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and take corrective actions to minimize non-productive time while maintaining well integrity. I am responsible for reviewing daily plans, supervising critical operations, and making timely decisions to address operational challenges. I maintain regular communication with the drilling superintendent and engineering teams, providing accurate daily reports on progress, costs, and operational risks. I also ensure that materials, equipment, and personnel are available as per operational requirements. Through strong leadership, technical knowledge, and effective communication, I ensure that wells are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project objectives.
