Acted as the Company Man and Operator’s designated Wellsite Supervisor with full authority and accountability for offshore drilling and completion operations, representing the Operator’s interests at the rig site at all times. Held ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all well activities in strict accordance with the approved drilling and completion programs, company policies, well control standards, and regulatory requirements. Exercised direct operational control over the rig contractor and all third-party service companies, setting execution priorities, approving work sequences, and ensuring that activities were performed to the required technical and safety standards. Maintained continuous oversight of drilling, casing, cementing, completion, well testing, and P&A operations, with clear accountability for well integrity, barrier management, and operational risk. Demonstrated strong leadership by making real-time operational decisions at the wellsite, including stop-work authority where required, to prevent unsafe acts, protect personnel, and preserve the integrity of the well. Reviewed, challenged, and approved operational procedures, risk assessments, permits to work, and job safety analyses, ensuring that hazards were fully understood and mitigated prior to execution. Led daily operations meetings, pre-job safety meetings, and toolbox talks, reinforcing operator expectations, safety culture, and execution discipline across all crews. Served as the primary interface between the rig site and onshore teams, ensuring alignment between planning and execution, escalating operational risks, and providing clear, factual updates and recommendations to support informed decision-making. Actively monitored operational performance, enforced compliance, and drove corrective actions to manage risk, control costs, and deliver well objectives safely and efficiently on behalf of the Operator.
