-Make sure that all operations meet the safety standards of the company and no violation of its policy and rules. -Supervise and manage all phases of drilling operations for both vertical and horizontal wells. This includes rig acceptance, spudding, drilling, coring, turbo drilling, running and cementing all types of casing and liners, logging, well testing, sidetracking, remedial operations, fishing, and more. Drilling data management, accurate tracking and efficient reporting of drilling operations. Drilling optimisation to increase Rig performance without any shortcut or violation of safety rules. -Discuss with division manager about the previous and upcomming operations and highlight if any deviation of plan. - Make daily safety meeting with rig crew and disscuss all safety allerts. - Perform non routine safety meetings for specific opérations. - Disscuss the job safety analysis and participate in risk assessement. -Establish permits to work. - Order drilling material. - Disscuss with Drilling Engineer about any concern regarding Drilling program or during operation.
