Perform the overall administration and evaluation of the assigned team of rig safety officers. • Provide support to the team for the daily operations using the more extensive knowledge and experience available. • Follow up with rig statistics and SMS effectiveness. • Monitor the compliance with company’s polices, and national and international laws. • Act as a point of contact for clients and vendors, and manage issues escalated by the team. • Ensure the development of the personnel and identify potential candidates for career developments and promotions. • Assist the director in the issuing of periodic department budget by providing data related to the team managed. • Conduct HSE audits on departments, rigs and perform vendor assessments and prequalification, preparing follow-up reports on their basis. • Monitor the correct implementation of HSE plans and procedures across the organization. • Perform investigations regarding accidents on the rigs and prepare reports to be submitted to HSE Manager. • Provide coaching and training to Safety Training Coordinators on rigs. • Assist in issuance of client cross related documentssuch as bridging documents, ERP, medivac plan and other. • Assist HSE manger in tasks as when delegated. • Review and update the policy to keep updated with all relevant standards “agility”. • Ensuring homogenous interaction between client and the company in HSE related matters.
