• Ensuring Health and safety standards & management systems are in place for the organization and working site • Promote a health & safety culture throughout the organization • Consultation and coordination with top-level management for health and safety requirements and resources in accordance with health and safety management • Provide clear guidelines to Contractors on the site in the implementation of the safety Standards in relation to H&S • Influence and monitor policies, procedures, programs, standards, and design criteria affecting safety on projects across the region • Manage and coordinate the investigation of serious H&S incidents to determine root cause and the appropriate corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences • Continuous reporting on overall health and safety performance & progress to the top-level management • Ensuring effective and specific risk assessment for all major activities • Demonstrating clear roles and responsibilities for health and safety executives/officers/practitioner • Operating health and safety campaigns to promote Health, safety and safety culture • Assisting in health and safety audits, inspections and taking control measures accordingly • Participates in the development and implementation of project safety plans • Provides safety guidance to contractors and utilizing my expertise to ensure that the contractor is complying with the Clients safety
