1. Policy & Compliance Implement and enforce company HSE policies and procedures Ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and statutory HSE requirements Monitor site activities for HSE conformity 2. Risk Management Conduct risk assessments and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Ensure hazards are identified and effective controls are in place Verify permit-to-work (PTW) compliance and site isolations 3. Site Monitoring & Inspection Perform routine site inspections and safety audits Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions Stop unsafe work and ensure immediate corrective action 4. Training & Awareness Organize and conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety trainings Promote safety awareness and positive safety culture Coach workers and supervisors on safe work practices 5. Incident Management Report, investigate, and document incidents, accidents, and near misses Recommend corrective and preventive actions Track closure of all HSE action items 6. Emergency Preparedness Participate in emergency drills and response planning Ensure emergency equipment is available and functional Lead or support emergency response during incidents 7. Documentation & Reporting Maintain HSE records, permits, inspections, and reports Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports Ensure proper recordkeeping and document control 8. Environmental Protection Monitor environmental aspects of operations Ensure proper waste management and pollution control Promote environmental awareness on site 9. Communication & Leadership Liaise with management, supervisors, and contractors on HSE matters Lead by example and enforce safety discipline 10.
