-Represent the operator at the rig site and ensure compliance with the drilling program. -Lead and supervise all well site operations (drilling, tripping, casing, cementing, logging, testing). -Ensure full compliance with HSE rules, PTW system, and safety procedures. -Conduct and enforce toolbox talks, JSAs, and risk assessments. -Monitor well conditions (flow, pit volume, ECD, torque, drag, gas) to prevent well control incidents. -Ensure well integrity and correct execution of the well design. -Coordinate and manage all contractors and service companies on the rig. -Optimize drilling performance and minimize non-productive time (NPT). -Control operational costs and avoid unnecessary activities or delays. -Ensure all equipment is tested, certified, and fit for purpose (BOP, well control, critical tools). -Prepare and submit accurate daily drilling reports and operational updates.
