Supervised and managed drilling, workover, and well intervention operations at the rig site, ensuring all activities were executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company procedures, drilling programs, and international oilfield standards. Acted as the Company Representative on site, coordinating daily operations between rig crews, service companies, and third-party contractors to achieve operational objectives within planned time and cost. Responsible for overseeing well control readiness and execution, including well killing operations using balanced, overbalanced, and bullheading methods. Monitored drilling parameters, mud properties, and pressure indicators to detect early signs of kicks, losses, or abnormal well behavior, and took immediate corrective actions to maintain well integrity and personnel safety. Supervised drilling operations for vertical and deviated wells, including casing running, cementing operations, BOP testing, and drilling equipment readiness. Managed workover activities such as tubing pulling and running, fishing and milling operations, zonal isolation, cement squeezing, and preparation for plug and abandonment (P&A) operations. Coordinated closely with wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, cementing, and well intervention service providers to ensure proper execution of planned programs. Led HSE implementation at the well site by enforcing Permit to Work (PTW) systems, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), toolbox talks, and risk assessments. Ensured all personnel were certified, competent, and fit for work, and actively promoted a strong safety culture to prevent incidents and non-productive time. Prepared and submitted accurate daily drilling and workover reports, monitored operational performance, analyzed non-productive time (NPT), and communicated effectively with engineering, geology, production, and management teams to optimize operational efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure safe delivery of wells from spud to final handover.
