To contribute to the delivery of comprehensive medical support within offshore or onshore rig operations by ensuring high standards of emergency response, primary healthcare, and occupational health services in a remote and high-risk working environment. The role focuses on maintaining the health, safety, and medical readiness of all personnel through prompt assessment and management of injuries, acute illnesses, and medical emergencies, while ensuring appropriate stabilization and coordination for medical evacuation when required. Responsibilities include providing ongoing primary care, monitoring chronic medical conditions, and conducting fitness-to-work assessments in accordance with company policies and international occupational health standards. Emphasis is placed on proactive health surveillance, early identification of work-related health risks, and implementation of preventive measures related to fatigue, heat stress, and environmental or chemical exposure. The position also supports Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs through participation in safety meetings, emergency drills, incident investigations, and health education initiatives aimed at promoting a strong safety culture on site. Effective management of the rig medical facility is integral, including maintaining medical equipment, medications, and supplies, ensuring infection control standards, and keeping accurate and confidential medical records. Close coordination with onshore medical advisors, operational teams, and emergency response services is essential to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
