Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise completion, intervention and workover operations for wells, including fishing, squeeze cementing, re-perforation, acidizing, perforation isolation for wells with up to 10K Reservoir Pressure, - Act as the primary interface between service companies and Operator Onshore Team to ensure smooth operations and communication, - Ensure that operations are carried out under company HSE Regulations, - Generate tallies, crosscheck with all stakeholders, - Execute rigless wireline operations such as perforation, acidizing, production logging, - Lead the team in the event of any well control or kick during completions operations to be able to get rid of the kick, - Supervise rig teams during job execution, including preparation and approval of tally sheets, Driller Instructions, and field tickets, - Manage the planning and execution of completion and workover activities for smart wells, incorporating Intelligent Control Valves (ICVs up to 8 lines for 4 zone completion) and Flow Control Valves (FCVs), (So far 65 Baker HCM-A and 24 SLB Proteus FCV have been run in project) - Prepare and maintain well barrier envelopes for all operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, - Author and supervise Coil Tubing, Wireline, and Slickline intervention programs for deep production wells, - Review and approve QA/QC documentation related to completion sub-assemblies and materials, - Compile detailed End-of-Well reports documenting operational outcomes and recommendations, - Capture and register lessons learned from operations to enhance future performance, resulting in cost savings exceeding $10 million per well, - Monitor Rig Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed, - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review HAZOP and HAZID studies, - Analyze and validate service company engineering simulations, such as Torque and Drag models, to optimize well operations, - Follow the Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documentation and monitor daily operational costs, - Manage service quality by addressing issues with service providers promptly and effectively, - Supervise the wellhead maintenance scopes, - Design and execute Coil Tubing interventions for plug setting packer milling, acidizing and N2 lifting, - Track and report on company-wide and internal KPIs to ensure operational excellence, - Plan and oversee slickline operations for zonal isolation, pressure/temperature memory gauge deployments, and memory logging activities, - Mentor and develop junior engineers by creating training programs, assessing competencies, and assigning structured work to build their technical capabilities
