Professional Capabilities:  HSE Compliance & Risk Management o Monitor performance and client obligations to ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and industry best practices. o Ensure adherence to risk assessment programs, enforcing control measures and corrective actions. o Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits as per approved schedules, preparing and reviewing reports and addressing findings with management. o Participate in internal audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses, preparing SMART recommendations to prevent recurrence. o Ensure compliance with local HSE regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.  Safety Leadership & Culture Development o Encourage employees to exercise Stop Work Authority and suggest improvements for the HSE Management System. o Provide coaching, mentoring, and clear expectations to HSE Officers to enhance their performance. o Supervise and guide HSE Officers in conducting safety meetings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments, ensuring effective communication of safety expectations and best practices across all levels. o Drive continuous improvement by reviewing work processes and supporting the development of HSE plans. o Balance recognition and enforcement, ensuring a culture of accountability and proactive hazard mitigation.  HSE Monitoring & Reporting o Perform regular safety inspections in work locations, including rigs and offices both onshore and offshore, to assess working conditions, equipment, and behaviors. o Review reports and statistics prepared by HSE Officers, compiling and submitting trend analyses and summary reports for management. o Generate HSE alerts and cascade lessons learned across the fleet. o Ensure timely submission of monthly and weekly HSE reports to clients and internal stakeholders.  Emergency Preparedness & Response o Lead and train HSE Officers in emergency preparedness, ensuring readiness through regular drills and exercises. o Develop, implement, and update emergency response plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements. o Inspect and maintain emergency equipment, verifying availability and functionality for immediate use. o Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to enhance response effectiveness. o Coordinate with internal teams and external emergency services to establish seamless emergency response protocols.  Training & Awareness Programs o Prepare and deliver HSE training, induction sessions, and awareness campaigns for employees, visitors, and contractors. o Review and enhance HSE training materials, ensuring alignment with company, client and industry standards. o Assist in the administration of onsite training programs in line with the company’s training matrix.  Operational Safety & Hazard Management o Ensure proper hazard identification and risk assessment for operations, well control procedures, pressurized systems
