Coordinate with the Area QHSE involving QHSE concerns. Contributing in the development of the various HSE plans, procedures, Quality documentation and ensuring effective implementation of the same in the workplace Consult, advice and direct drilling and workover operations in matters relating to QHSE. Liaison with Operator in regard to QHSE matters Maintaining internal and external reporting according to established systems Consultation with outside experts on QHSE matters when required. Monitor/Chair/Participate in regularly scheduled and unscheduled HSE Meetings and communicate safety instructions & concerns to all employees Participate in Regulatory, Operator and Internal QHSE audits. Conducting and participating in accident/incident investigation to determine the rootcauses, immediate causes and prepare corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence Participation in local HSE groups, to include operators, government and other drilling contractors. Responsible for adherence to company guidelines Ensure rig complies with SANAD requirements. Maintaining and updating Rig evacuation plans, procedures and measures Provide information to Management on accidents/incidents in a timely manner according to established SANAD and ARAMCO procedures. Monitor compliance against the monthly HSE schedule Preparing and reviewing the risk assessments and monitoring the PTW and LOTO system Coordinate with the Rig Manager concerning the implementation of the Rig Management System on-site and the ongoing instructions to all personnel in its use. Oversee implementation of SMART program on rig-site Monitor/chair/participate in regularly scheduled HSE meetings held at rigs and camps Oversee implementation of operational systems and procedures to include but not be limited to Permit to Work System, Lock-Out/Tag-Out System, Fall Protection, Hazcom, Manual Handling, Confined Space, Gas Testing, Dropped Objects, PPE System, HAZID, H2S Awareness, Benchmarking, and other required QHSE activities Monitor readiness/response to emergency situations through regularly held and documented drills Preparing and implementing site specific Emergency response plan and risk assessment Ensure Compliance of HSE Standards during Rig Move Execution/Reviewing/Monitoring of required QHSE inspection for rigs and camps and reporting findings to the Area QHSE Maintenance of the Corrective Action Register for non-compliance items arising from meetings and inspections Maintenance of the Lifting Equipment Management system registers and Inspection Program Monitor compliance with Travel/Journey Management System where applicable  Conducting weekly and monthly safety inspections as per the requirements and daily hazard hunts  Periodic inspection and maintenance of safety equipment’s  Delivering training to the crew on Hazard Identification & Recognition, usage of Firefightingequipment, Hydrogen Sulphide, Dropped Objects, Fall Protection, Confined space etc
