Responsible for implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environment requirements during drilling operations. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and international standards. Conduct regular site inspections and safety walkthroughs to identify hazards and verify control measures. Participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and permit-to-work systems. Monitor drilling and high-risk activities such as confined space entry, lifting operations, and hot work to ensure safe work practices are followed. Perform rig inspections, report unsafe conditions, and follow up on corrective actions. Act as an Authorized Gas Tester when required and ensure compliance with H2S safety procedures. Support emergency response activities, toolbox talks, safety inductions, and incident investigations to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
