A Drilling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all drilling operations on site, ensuring that activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the approved drilling program and company policies. The role involves managing personnel, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards. The Drilling Supervisor plans and supervises daily rig operations, including drilling, casing, cementing, and logging activities. He ensures that all equipment and materials are available and properly utilized, and he monitors key operational parameters such as WOB, RPM, mud properties, and torque. The supervisor is the field representative of the operating company and acts as the primary point of contact between the rig and office-based drilling engineers.
