I have hands-on experience in directional drilling operations, where I actively supported the planning, execution, and monitoring of well trajectories in accordance with approved directional drilling programs. My responsibilities included assisting in the design and implementation of BHA configurations using mud motors and rotary assemblies to achieve the required build, drop, and turn sections of the well. I closely monitored drilling parameters such as weight on bit, RPM, torque, drag, and pump rates to maintain directional control and ensure wellbore stability. I was involved in slide and rotate drilling operations, analyzing survey data and dogleg severity to keep the well within planned targets and tolerances. I regularly reviewed MWD survey reports and collaborated with the directional driller, driller, and MWD team to make real-time decisions for trajectory corrections. I also assisted in survey calculations, projections, and interpretation of inclination and azimuth trends to optimize drilling performance. In addition, I supported troubleshooting activities related to hole cleaning, tight spots, and torque and drag issues, ensuring smooth drilling progress. I maintained accurate daily operational records and reports, highlighting key directional activities and observations. Throughout operations, I strictly followed HSE guidelines and company procedures, contributing to safe, efficient, and cost-effective directional drilling operations.
