Represents the operating company on the drilling site and is responsible for planning, supervising, and safely executing drilling operations according to approved programs, budgets, and regulations. Supervise all drilling and well construction activities on site. Ensure operations follow the approved drilling program. Coordinate work between drilling crews, contractors, and service companies. Monitor drilling parameters and well progress. Enforce safety rules and procedures at all times. Ensure compliance with HSE policies and local regulations Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks. Stop operations if unsafe conditions are identifie. Ensure proper handling of drilling fluids, waste, and chemicals. Monitor drilling parameters (ROP, WOB, mud properties, torque, etc.). Troubleshoot drilling problems (lost circulation, kicks, stuck pipe). Make real-time decisions to optimize performance and reduce risks. Review and implement drilling programs and procedures. Prepare daily drilling reports and cost tracking. Report progress, incidents, and recommendations to management.
