- Coach personnel at all levels Shelf Drilling’s Health and Safety requirements as defined in the Company HSE Management System. - Monitor and audit TOFS, Safety Risk Assessment, Safety Conversation, Permit to Work and Energy Isolation requirements and effectiveness into all tasks, whether working alone or as part of a team. Open an Unsafe Condition/DELTA action for any non-conformity. - Lead by example and operate in compliance of Company Management Systems. - Call a Time Out for Safety (TOFS) whenever an unplanned hazard or a change in the expected results is observed - Carry out assigned duties in a safe manner according to Company policies and procedures - Have an expert level knowledge of Shelf Drilling’s Health and Safety requirements as defined in the Company HSE Management System. - Advise and actively assist personnel in the application of company safe working practices. - Promote, participate and coach personnel in the application of the Safety Risk Assessment process, using the rules of task planning, Debrief process. Actively monitor the Delta Action process and raise any identified issues with the OIM / Rig Manager / HSE Manager. - Monitor Self Verification process and coach and mentor as required - Conduct Level 2 investigations using Kelvin Top Set methodology - Assist Supervisors with the planning and development of HSE Meetings. - Participate in daily meetings, (Supervisor, pre-tour if anything specific to be brought up only), with the OIM, Department Heads and Client Representative as required. - Continually review the Company Management System to identify opportunities for improvement. - Ensure that Installation IMP is trained to deliver the Rig Induction for the installation. - Conduct rig-based HSE training as per the training matrix. Authority I - Update and Maintain the HSE bulletin board. - Understand and have a working knowledge of HSE bridging document with Customer and customers HSE requirements.
