• Plans and controls drilling projects • Ensures safety and well integrity • Manages people, rigs, and budgets • Delivers wells efficiently and reliably • Implement new drilling technologies and best practices • Analyze KPIs (ROP, NPT, cost per meter, well delivery time) • Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned • Apply digital tools and real-time monitoring systems • Manage drilling budgets and control costs against AFE • Approve invoices, day rates, and service charges • Evaluate and select drilling contractors and service providers • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance • Ensure strict compliance with HSSE policies and well control standards • Lead safety culture and enforce safe work practices • Ensure well integrity and barrier management throughout operations • Conduct risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, JSA)
