As an HSE Engineer, I am responsible for ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and company standards across all operational activities. My primary role is to prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and environmental incidents by proactively identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing effective control measures. I conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks to ensure safe working conditions and continuous workforce awareness. I prepare, update, and enforce HSE documentation including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Emergency Response Plans, Permit to Work systems, and HSE procedures in line with national legislation and international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. I verify the certification, conformity, and operational readiness of all equipment prior to deployment, particularly critical lifting, drilling, and high-risk equipment, ensuring they meet project and regulatory requirements. I monitor contractors’ compliance, coordinate corrective actions, and provide technical HSE guidance to supervisors and workers. I actively participate in incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and development of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring lessons learned are communicated and implemented. I oversee environmental protection measures including waste management, spill prevention, and pollution control. I support management by providing HSE performance reports, KPIs, and recommendations for continuous improvement. I promote a strong safety culture through leadership, coaching, and engagement, ensuring that safety remains a core value in all operations.

Experienced in risk assessment, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Permit to Work (PTW), safety inductions, toolbox talks, and site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
