My core responsibility is to represent the operator on site and ensure that all drilling operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with the approved drilling program, company policies, and HSE standards. I am responsible for supervising and coordinating rig crews, drilling contractors, and service companies to ensure smooth daily operations and effective communication between all parties involved. I closely monitor drilling parameters, well integrity, and operational performance to ensure risks are identified early and properly mitigated. A key part of my role is decision-making under operational and safety pressure, where I assess technical conditions, evaluate potential hazards, and take timely actions to protect personnel, equipment, and the well. I have the authority to stop operations whenever unsafe conditions are identified and to ensure corrective actions are implemented before resuming work. In addition, I am responsible for cost control and minimizing non-productive time by optimizing operational efficiency, coordinating services effectively, and ensuring adherence to the drilling schedule. I review daily drilling reports, track operational progress, and communicate clearly with onshore management regarding performance, challenges, and required support. Leadership and crew management are essential aspects of my responsibilities. I promote a strong safety culture through toolbox talks, risk assessments, and continuous supervision, while also motivating teams to maintain high performance standards. Overall, my responsibility is to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling operations while achieving the project’s technical and operational objectives
