General Labor Loading and unloading equipment, pipes, and materials Cleaning the rig, deck, and work areas Assisting skilled workers (drillers, mechanics, electricians) Rig & Equipment Support Helping in rigging up and rigging down operations Moving drill pipes, tools, and machinery Assisting with maintenance of drilling equipment Maintenance Work Painting, greasing, and cleaning machinery Minor repairs under supervision Checking tools and equipment for damage Safety Duties Following all safety rules and procedures Wearing PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, etc.) Reporting unsafe conditions or accidents immediately Material Handling Operating basic tools and sometimes forklifts or cranes (if trained) Stacking and storing materials properly Team Support Working as part of a crew Taking instructions from supervisors Supporting day-to-day operations to keep work running smoothly
