Roles and Responsibilities
Provide 24/7 medical coverage on offshore drilling rigs and vessels Deliver primary medical care, emergency response, and trauma management in remote environments Perform initial assessment, stabilization, and treatment of injured or ill personnel Coordinate Medevac operations (helicopter and marine), including communication with onshore hospitals Conduct fitness-to-work assessments, medical screening, and crew medical clearance Maintain rig clinic readiness, medical equipment, emergency drugs, and controlled medications Implement occupational health and preventive medicine programs, including vaccinations and health surveillance Ensure compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and international standards (WHO, OGP) Monitor and report workforce health KPIs, incidents, and medical statistics Provide health education and awareness to rig personnel Liaise with OIM, HSE teams, client representatives, and contractors Participate in emergency drills, audits, and incident investigations Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and confidentiality
