Conducting daily inspections/Safety walkabouts and preparing inspection reports • Holding safety meetings and evaluate the safety aspects of proposed operational activities and record and concerns are raised. • Ensuring all operational activities on platform are carried out in a safe manner and in adherence to the Company’s Safety Policies, Statutory Regulations and Work Guidelines. • Implementing internal training safety programmes and promote safety behaviour practices for personnel on the platform managed by the company during operation activities • Participating in safety auditing activities, accident / incident / near miss investigations ensuring Accident Report Forms are completed, Participation in all Risk Assessments • Identifying and analyzing field drilling & Wells hazards and risks and takes necessary steps to mitigate these risks, including stopping unsafe work or unsafe acts / behaviours • Conducting and participating in reviews, inspections and audits of contractor drilling • Demonstrable health and safety leadership skills and willingness to intervene and stop the job, coaching for improved safety behaviour and mitigation unsafe conditions • Monitoring and reviewing health and safety policies and practices so as to ensure compliance/alignment with statutory & company requirements • Advising Operations Manager on HSE issues, including safe working practices and risk assessment techniques • Reporting HSE related activities & maintaining statistics, ensuring maintenance of the Material Safety Data Base/COSHH , implementing HSE training for Company • Monitoring compliance with the environmental management system • Collecting and disseminating data as required for corporate HSE reporting • Participation in Emergency exercises, Responsible to check people during the Muster Drill.
