My role is centered on the seamless integration of engineering objectives with field realities, ensuring that every phase of the well construction process—from initial positioning and leg pre-loading to reaching Total Depth (TD) and final completion—is conducted with absolute technical precision. Operating in the high-stakes offshore environment, I manage the critical interface between the rig’s marine stability and downhole mechanical integrity, maintaining a constant vigil over wellbore stability, pore pressure gradients, and fluid hydraulics. ​Beyond technical oversight, I function as a high-level project manager and safety leader. I am responsible for the direct supervision of the Drilling Contractor and a diverse array of third-party service providers, including directional drillers, mud engineers, and cementing crews. My performance is measured by the ability to aggressively minimize Non-Productive Time (NPT) and "flat time" through meticulous forward planning and proactive risk mitigation. By conducting detailed "Look Ahead" meetings and Rig-Site Verification (RSV) audits, I ensure that all personnel adhere to stringent HSE Management Systems and Well Control protocols. ​Whether navigating the challenges of high-angle directional wells, managing complex casing strings, or troubleshooting unforeseen geological hazards, my focus remains on delivering a high-quality wellbore. I translate corporate KPIs into operational success, ensuring the asset remains on schedule and within budget while upholding the highest standards of environmental stewardship and personnel safety.
