* supervise drilling and completion operations of both oil or gas horizontal wells in a safe and efficient manner while following a defined drilling program.  **Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation in line with international standards. ** Ensures risk management processes are used in the well planning and execution. Participates as requested in HAZOPS, SIMOPS and Risk Assessments.  Provide Technical support in drilling engineering for BHA modeling, Torque, Drag, Drilling Bit performance, etc, to clients. ** Prepare look ahead plan to ensure that operations are carried out in smooth manner. ** Take a lead to Ensure drilling programs, program amendments and dispensations to policy are prepared on schedule and are adequately risk assessed. ** Work closely with resource teams, and service company personnel to ensure an efficient operation. **Monitor all phases of the drilling operations, perform post-analyses for benchmarking and  Prepare Daily Progress report (Time & Cost), KPIs reports, Well Quality KPI report, AAR & Well completion reports. ** Reviews Daily Drilling Report, QC data and ensure correct data input in the database. **Analyses the NPT, Down time & zero rate and take a lead to give solutions for improvement **Coordinate with material suppliers and contractors. ** Assist and supervise drilling team and production personnel to execute well designs and drilling in a cost-effective way. ** Evaluate rig operations against targets and performance database management and optimize accordingly. **Prepare and summarize progress reports for management and client staff. ** Provide input for preparation of the functional budgets and assist in the implementation. **Determines technical parameters of 3rd party equipment & service providers are in accordance with the contract.
