Responsible for ensuring safe drilling/workover operations by implementing Health, Safety and Environment standards, preventing accidents and promoting a strong safety culture on the rig. Acts as site safety authority and ensures compliance with company policies, client standards and statutory regulations. Implement company HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices. Ensure compliance with DGMS, OISD requirements. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of rig operations. Ensure all statutory permits and safety documents are available. Conduct and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Ensure Toolbox Talks are conducted before every critical job. Reporting and documenting near-misses, unsafe acts and condition. prepairing incident reports and recommend corrective actions.Ensuring emergency response plan is implemented. Conducting different mock drills at site. Conducting safety inductions for all crew and visitors. Promote safety campaigns and safety meetings. Ensure PPE compliance at all the times.
