Act as the company’s on-site representative for all drilling operations Ensure drilling activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with the drilling program Coordinate between rig contractor, service companies, and company management Provide technical and operational leadership at the rig site Responsibilities Supervise and control all drilling, completion, and workover activities on the rig Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, well control standards, and regulatory requirements Monitor drilling parameters, well integrity, and operational risks Implement and follow the approved drilling program and procedures Manage daily operations, rig performance, and non-productive time (NPT) Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and job safety analyses (JSA) Verify equipment readiness, certifications, and operational limits Review and approve daily drilling reports and operational documentation Coordinate logistics, materials, and third-party services Report incidents, near misses, and operational deviations promptly Support emergency response and well control situations when required
