As an HSE Officer, I am responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant working environment. I develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies in line with local laws, international standards, and company procedures. I conduct regular hazard identification and risk assessments to detect unsafe acts and conditions. I ensure effective control measures are applied to minimize risks. I carry out site inspections, job safety analyses (JSA), and deliver toolbox talks to create safety awareness among employees and contractors. I ensure compliance with HSE regulations by maintaining safety records, permits to work, incident reports, and inspection documentation. In case of accidents or near misses, I investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. I organize safety inductions, emergency drills, and ongoing training programs. I ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote safe work practices across all departments. I also monitor environmental protection measures, including waste management, pollution control, and compliance with environmental standards. I contribute to building a strong safety culture, reducing workplace incidents, and protecting both employees and the environment.
